The Ayurvedic centre for regeneration provides a unique programme formulated on the Vedic science of Ayurveda. The restaurant serves Continental, Indian and Chinese recipes with tasty sea food and regional cuisines.
Ayurvedic vegetarian foods respective to the treatment are also served there. There are about 320 kinds of Ayurvedic recipes served here.
Based on the science of Vedic Ayurveda, dating back to 5000 years old, various therapies conducted at Manaltheeram has an exclusive Ayurvedic center. Various Ayurvedic treatments consisting of herbal preparations, helps in healing up without any kind of side effects. The treatment is carried out under direct guidance and supervision of qualified doctors. A total of 60 therapists and 10 doctors provides more than 28 kinds of body care programs as well as treatments. There is also the provision of practicing meditation and yoga at the Yoga centre under the guidance of the Guru.
Different kinds of Ayurvedic therapies practiced in Manaltheeram are:
- Sidhima Chikilsa or Sporaris Treatment Programme : Lasting for a span of 21 to 28 days, this is effective for all kind of sporaris treatments. This programme is inclusive of abhyangam, pizhichil, snehapanam and medicated steam. Exclusively prepared herbal medicines are used to cure treatments.
- Kayakalpa Chikilsa or Longevity/Body Immunization Programme : It is a treatment package for 28 days which is a major treatment for slowing down the ageing process. It is accomplished through special Ayurvedic medicine, called Rasayana. Based on the swethakarma as well as the panchakarma treatment, it yields best results if taken before the age of 60.
- General Massage : Herbal powder or herbal oil is used to massage the whole body. This improves the blood circulation by toning up the body.
- Mukhalepam : Specially made of fresh cream and herbal powder, it is a kind of herbal face pack. It improves the skin tone by removing the wrinkles. It is also helpful for the eyes.
- Beauty Care Program lasts for10 days.
